Jeffrey L. Adler, DPM

adlerDr. Jeffrey L. Adler, Medical/Surgical Director and owner of Adler Footcare of Greater New York has been practicing podiatric medicine since 1979 and has performed thousands of foot surgeries. Dr. Adler is board certified in Podiatric Surgery and Primary Podiatric Medicine by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

Dr. Adler is also a Professor of Minimally Invasive Foot Surgery for the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgeons. As one of only several in the country who perform minimally-invasive podiatric surgery, Dr. Adler’s patients enjoy significantly reduced recovery times.


Darline Kulhan, DPM, FACFAS

dr-kulhanDr. Darline Kulhan, a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, is a board certified podiatric surgeon with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She completed a surgical residency at Washington Memorial Hospital in Turnersville, New Jersey. She has been in private practice since 1979. Joining the Adler Footcare team she brings with her a wealth of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery, sports medicine, geriatric and podopediatrics. With their minimal invasive approach to foot deformities Dr. Kulhan and the podiatric team at Adler Footcare offer state-of-the-art treatments for chronic, painful foot conditions.

Dr. Kulhan's prior work with a Park Avenue practice affords her patients cutting edge cosmetic applications to a variety of foot problems. She has also been awarded an Apostolic Blessing from Pope John Paul II in helping to canonize St. Faustina, the 1st Saint of the Millenium. She brings this level of caring and concern to all her patients.

Alex Tievsky, DPM

tievskyDr. Alex Tievsky, a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, is well versed in all aspects of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He has completed a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program with extra certification in Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery, at Forest Hills Hospital North Shore LIJ. During his 3-year residency, Dr. Tievsky covered 5 hospitals within the North Shore LIJ system, treating everything from simple ingrown nails, to complex reconstructive surgery secondary to severe trauma. Dr. Tievsky also helped manage and treat patients in two separate wound healing centers, which utilized hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and skin grafts to heal complex non-healing wounds.

Dr. Tievsky is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and also Board Qualified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Prior to going into Podiatry, Dr. Tievsky had completed his Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from Hunter College in New York City.  Dr. Tievsky is fluent in English as well as Russian.

Shweta Raina, DPM


Dr. Shweta Raina was inspired to become a podiatrist due to a life-long love of both art and science, which she felt was most perfectly combined in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery.

She received her Doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at George Mason University in
Fairfax, Virginia. She completed a four-year podiatric residency at New York Hospital Queens in Flushing, New York. Her training was focused on Podiatric Surgery with an added emphasis on Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. She was trained in comprehensive conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions, took in-house call at a Level-I trauma center, and performed surgery with both podiatrists and foot and ankle orthopaedists. Her research interests included investigations into abnormal plantar skin temperatures in neuropathic patients, vascular malformations of the foot, and management of Lisfranc (midfoot) fracture-dislocations.

She is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).

She is fluent in Spanish and Hindi.
